How do you choose and use fuel pumps for the Nuke Performance LightCell fuel cell?
The LightCell fuel cells from Nuke Performance support 200 to 2000+ HP for street, track, and drag racing. Its integrated fuel pump hangers ensure compatibility with single or dual high-pressure fuel pumps from top brands like Deatschwerks, Walbro, Bosch, Fuelab and Aeromotive.

Supply pump/lift pump installation:
A fuel pump is securely mounted inside the fuel cell and attached to a height-adjustable aluminum mounting pipe. This lift pump continuously supplies the integrated surge tank with fuel, ensuring it remains adequately filled to prevent fuel starvation for the high-pressure fuel pumps.
High-pressure/feeder pump installation:
One or two additional high-pressure fuel pumps are securely mounted inside the integrated surge tank using a billet aluminum bracket. These pumps merge into a single oversized outlet, guaranteeing a consistent and reliable fuel supply even under high-demand conditions.
The LightCell fuel cell, paired with the CFC Unit, eliminates the risk of fuel starvation even in extreme driving conditions. Thanks to the internal foam baffling and innovative surge tank design, fuel delivery remains consistent and reliable no matter the situation. The Nuke Performance CFC Unit simplifies high-performance fuel system setups with various fittings and connectors designed for motorsports applications. Featuring a single AN-10 ORB outlet and an AN-8 ORB return, the CFC Unit is compatible with a wide range of aftermarket fuel system components.
A single oversized outlet equals fewer hoses and less mess
The oversized AN-10 ORB outlet combines the internal fuel pumps into a single high-flow fuel line, reducing the need for additional external components. The AN-8 ORB return port efficiently directs fuel back into the surge tank, ensuring it remains consistently full. We offer fittings in both straight AN-to-AN versions and space-saving Full Flow Banjo fittings, ideal for tight installations, and available for both supply and return ports.

No fuel pumps are included with the LightCell fuel cell :
The LightCell fuel cell from Nuke Performance is available with or without a CFC Unit. When ordering a CFC Unit, you must choose a model for traditional in-tank or brushless fuel pumps. Regardless of the version, no fuel pumps are included and must be purchased separately.

All LightCell fuel cells are custom-manufactured to order, ensuring you receive the latest FIA-homologated design and never an outdated or stored bladder.
